All of the artists donated their time to raising awareness and inspiring change around the issue of human trafficking. Live With A Smile, is a hopeful song about standing together to protect your family, friends and fellow citizens from falling into the trap of human trafficking. In Vietnam, many are willing to leave the issue of human trafficking in the dark. This unique collaboration shines a light on the problem, with direct messaging and statistics on sexual, domestic and hard labour exploitation. MTV EXIT’s groundbreaking video was co-produced with Creative Boutique Yeti and was directed by Tsering Tashi Gyalthang, Creative Boutique Yeti director.

“I was born as a Tibetan refugee so I have always been aware of the human capacity to forcefully snatch someone else’s freedom away. It still shocks me to know the extent to which the human trafficking and slavery of all forms are still widely practiced, right here in our own neighborhoods. MTV EXIT has been doing amazing work bringing this issue to light and spreading awareness. I am honored to be working with MTV EXIT and I hope that this music video will help spread more awareness in Vietnam, said Tsering Tashi Gyalthang, director of the music video.

MTV EXIT’s Celebrity Ambassador to Vietnam, Mỹ Tâm, encourages fans to spread the awareness on human trafficking and be involved in the global movement to end modern-day slavery on and Mỹ Tâm is also the host for the new half-hour Vietnamese language documentary film, Enslaved: An MTV EXIT Special that showcases a real and rare glimpse into human trafficking and exploitation. The new music video will premiere on Monday, 12 November 2012 on MTV Vietnam channel at 11 PM and will replay throughout the week and online at
