The documentary will give audiences a real and rare glimpse into human trafficking and exploitation in Cambodia, telling stories of human trafficking survivors and highlighting what everyone can do to help end this horrific crime. Enslaved: An MTV EXIT Special is currently in production and will premiere on Cambodia Television Network (CTN), Channel 21, in early 2012.
MTV EXIT is also hosting the first-ever MTV EXIT National Anti-Trafficking Youth Forum in Cambodia co-organized with World Vision Cambodia to empower and engage youth leaders from across Cambodia to spread key anti-trafficking messages. The Forum will bring together youth leaders ages 18 to 25 years old for a series of interactive workshops conducted by media professionals over 4 days, from 14 to 17 December 2011. The Forum will strengthen the youth leaders’ creative skills, while challenging them to produce a campaign plan to take the fight against human trafficking back to their local communities.
