Leading Indonesian Artists Join MTV EXIT in the Global Movement to Fight Human Trafficking

15 AUGUST 2012, JAKARTA/ BANDUNG: MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) today announced the full artist line-up for its free live concert at Gasibu Bandung on 1st September, which will be hosted by Daniel Mananta and Millane Fernadnez. Top Indonesian artists The Changcuters, D’Masiv, Pas Band, Bondan Prakoso and Fade 2 Black, Kikan, Winner, Rosemary, Speaker First and Glory of Love will join Australian indie-rock sensation, Expatriate, in solidarity with Indonesian fans to fight human trafficking.

The concert will also be broadcast nationally live on Global TV from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. reaching to Indonesians across the country to join the global movement to combat this critical social issue.

MTV EXIT will also host the first-ever National Youth Sessions on human trafficking in Indonesia from 27 to 28 August, co-organized with the Bandung Creative City Forum (BCCF) and in partnership with Search for Common Ground and Save the Children. Selected youth leaders will undergo an exclusive leadership training of multimedia and awareness-raising workshops to build their capacity to implement creative public and school outreach activities throughout Bandung from 29 August to 4 September. These youth leaders will also drive a massive anti-trafficking Join the Fight event on Car Free Sunday at Hj. Juanda Street in Dago on 2 September.
